    Just drove all the way from New Jersey with my girlfriend whose parents live in Melbourne, this was our FIRST stop. Let me say that this place is OUTSTANDING. Clean, excellent service, food was delicious and fresh! The owner came personally to each table to ask how everything was. This is how you do hospitality! Bravo!

    PS: The portion sizes are quite generous!

    Shep's is a no pretense, comfort-food Diner. They keep it simple, with well prepared selections, friendly service and reasonable pricing.
    Breakfast is our favorite there. Shorty's Country Fried Steak Omelet is my favorite! Fluffy and perfect. Choose hash brown's & grilled biscuit, and you have sure winner! The Breakfast Burrito Bowl is well balanced and delicious. We've also enjoyed their pancakes, large, tender and very enjoyable. We've been back many times, and will continue to do so. Also nice to have a great breakfast without getting hit with an inflated bill at the end.

    Simple, always great, friendly, consistent service. A true neighborhood diner. Whether you are a once a week or more customer, or you drop in 6 months later-- someone will remember you and greet you like it was just the other day. The food is yummy and always hot, the patrons make eye contact say hi or nod! Love it!

    Awesome place for home cooked breakfast!   I had a mushroom and cheese omelet with hash browns and a grilled biscuit.    It was extremely fillings and very good.  
    My friend had the He Man breakfast.    The pancakes were enormous.       Server was extremely kind and they weren't pushing out of our table to turn over.  

    I'll be back.

    Order a bacon cheeseburger and they forgot the bacon and there was something floating around in my drink.
